
REQUIREMENTS FOR MEMBERSHIP
Section 1. Membership shall be as defined in the following sections of this article.
Section 2. BEFC membership shall consist of the following:
(a) BSE -This category shall be limited to the following persons:
(i) An individual who, at the time of initial application, is / was a Boeing or Spirit employee.
(ii) Any Boeing or Spirit retiree.
(b) BSF -This category shall be limited to the following persons:
(i) Individuals who, at the time of initial application are / were spouses, sons, daughters, and parents, of current Boeing / Spirit employees and Boeing / Spirit retirees.
(ii) Government, customer, contract and vendor personnel assigned to support the Boeing / Spirit Wichita facility, including their spouses and dependents.
(c) LM – This category shall be for those BEFC members, who have been dues paying members, in good standing, for 10 or more years.
(d) VO -This category shall be for those other individuals not associated with Boeing or Spirit, but who have presented their application to the Board reflecting a genuine interest or ability in general aviation.
Section 3. Applications for membership shall be made through the BEFC Membership Officer and membership shall be conferred upon approval by a simple majority of the Board and payment of the prescribed initiation charges.
Section 4. All members upon initial acceptance into membership shall be provided with a copy of the Club Bylaws and Rules of Operation.
Section 5. Membership qualifying under Sections 1 and 2 shall be open to all regardless of race, creed, national origin or sex.
Section 6. Prior to an individual being accepted into membership, they will sign a release from liability and indemnity agreement
